Shane Smith is not only the founder of VICE but he’s a long time friend. When the world shut down in 2020 for the global pandemic I called him suggesting we do a video chat based interview series about what was happening that I could one-man-band from his home in Santa Monica. We made 10 episodes straight from from Shanes house. I had lots of remote support, but when it came to on set, I directed produced, ran 3 cameras, lights, sound, and tech for the video feed. Shane did the interviews and made the snacks.
