Against Me!

The first time I saw Against Me! was at my friend Joe’s house in Gainesville. I was completely blown away. When years later they asked me to come on tour and make a documentary It was a dream come true, and though I had been making movies since I was 13 maybe the real jumping off point for my career. Over the years we’ve done several projects together, and I hope to continue.

We're Never Going Home.

2004 Feature Documentary for Fat Wreck Chords. This was only ever released on DVD so if you’re a Netflix executive hit me up.

I Still Love You Julie

In 2007 we convinced Against Me! to do a secret show at the famed Siberia in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen, just before Siberia would close it’s doors forever. We had to film it, but the last thing I wanted was an awkwardly lit stage or roped off areas for some stale tripod shots. Also I didn’t want to shoot, I wanted to party. So I gave 4 handy-cams and a 30 pack to 4 interns and told them to have a good time. I set up a 6 track recorder and made sure to turn 1 mic into the crowd. This video still puts a smile on my face.

Against Me! 16mm music video

Turn Those Clapping Hands Into Angry Balled Fists, was Against Me!’s first music video attempt. It was shot on 16mm with an old non reflex Bolex, the same camera used for the tour footage from We’re Never Going Home. The video was never really finished and never really released.
