Experimental Short
Part of an ongoing series called “the Cinema Series”, which explores cinematic tropes, “The Kiss” is somewhat of a send up of the traditional Hollywood kiss. Shot through with the lifting movement of the ubiquitous circle dolly on a set built to emulate golden hour and perpetual sunset, we see a couple kiss to a sachrine score, though the gender morphs and suddenly the man is kissing an identical version of himself and vice versa touching on the absurdity and narcissism of screen romance. Comissioned by the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art.
